Self Diagnosis Mode

Panasonic fridges are equipped with a self diagnosis mode - which allows you to get any error codes that are currently present in the machine.

  1. Press and hold the select button on the fridge for more than 10 seconds.
  2. The fridge and freezer temperature displays will now show an error code - with the fridge displaying the first letter and the freezer displaying a number.
  3. To exit the mode just press the select button for less than one second.

Self Diagnosis Mode (Show Historic Errors)

You can also see the historic error codes that have been cleared by doing the following.

  1. Press and hold the select button on the fridge for more than 10 seconds.
  2. Release, to enter self diagnostic mode/
  3. Now press and hold the select button again for more than one second.
  4. You are now in historical error mode.
  5. The fridge and freezer temperature displays will now show an error code - with the fridge displaying the first letter and the freezer displaying a number.
  6. To exit the mode just press the select button for less than one second.

Ice Dispenser Service Mode

  1. Keep both the doors open on the fridge.
  2. Whilst the doors are open press the dispenser lever and the select button for at least 10 seconds.
  3. "01" will be displayed indicating you are in the ice dispenser service mode.
  4. You can navigate through the menus by pressing the select button to increment the value and pressing the dispenser lever to confirm.

Ice Dispenser Service Mode Menu Options

  • 00 - Water supply level changes.
  • 01 - Current error mode.
  • 02 - Historical error mode
  • 03 - Remaining time before filter replacement.
  • 05 - Status of dispenser + ice maker

Demo Mode

  1. You can enter / exit demo mode my having both doors open, then pressing the up and down buttons simultaneously for more than 10 seconds.

Error Code Explanations

  • U10 - Warning that door is kept open.
  • H01 - FC temperature sensor circuit has trouble.
  • H02 - PC temperature sensor circuit has trouble.
  • H05 - Sensor DEFROST circuit has trouble.
  • H07 - Sensor ATC circuit has trouble.
  • H10 - SSC, Vegetable compartment sensor circuit has trouble
  • H12 - DFP sensor circuit has trouble
  • H27 - Lock/Disconnection of PC fan motor circuit.
  • H28 - Fan motor (for compressor) has trouble
  • H29 - Lock of FC fan motor circuit
  • H31 - FC defrost heater circuit has trouble
  • H32 - PC defrost heater circuit has trouble
  • H34 - Refrigerating unit has trouble (3-Way Valve has trouble)
  • H35 - HC refrigerant detection (High pressure leak)
  • H36 - HC refrigerant detection (Low pressure leak)
  • H38 - Disconnection of FC fan motor
  • H40 - Compressor has trouble (Inverter Protection Control)
  • H41 - Insufficient power voltage protection
  • H50 - Communication error
  • H51 - Control PCB has trouble (EEPROM)
  • H52 - Control PCB has trouble. (Voltage to compressor)
  • H53 - Substrate fault (Electrical current sensing circuit)

Ice Dispenser Error Codes

  • H04 - ICE sensor error
  • H21 - Auto Ice-making circuit has trouble
  • H45 - Over current protection for shooter motor
  • H45 - Select button has trouble
  • H45 - Ice Maker Push lever has trouble
