How To Reset a Sony PRS-900 (Soft Reset)

1. Press the recessed RESET button on the bottom of the unit
2. Press the power button, to turn the unit back on.

How To Fully Reset a Sony PRS-900 (Hard Reset)

This will clear all data on the unit

1. Press the recessed RESET button on the back of the unit
2. Slide the "Power" button to turn it on. While the screen displays "Opening book ...", hold down the "back" button and the volume + button until the reset all screen is displayed
3. Touch Yes to reset the Reader
